Okay,retiring from full time day-to-day employment has caused me to neglect this, the marketing arm of business as well.
Of course this really means I have more time to devote to these things.
I am currently building a website in association with Amazon, Ebay and Sony for starters. I will also include some other surprising directions as time goes by.
By combining my love of taking photographs of almost anything (as you may have noticed) I have chosen to make this my niche.

I suggest that Baby Boomers facing retirement should evaluate their financial strategies carefully. The question to ask your self is whether you'll have plenty of money, or poverty in your long awaited Golden Years,The world wide economic crash has seen investments and superannuation reduced to levels that have most baby boomers facing a bleak future.


I have been a self employed carpenter for many years, and by the time I reached 60 I knew I couldn't keep up any more,I became a skills lecturer and now I teach my skills to a younger generation.
But now I'm facing retirement and do not feel that the old age pension will be enough to see me through. So I launched a home-based internet business as an option.


Most financial experts agree that to become a self funded retiree, baby boomers should consider starting a home based business that can be run indefinitely to generate additional retirement income. By creating a passive stream of recurring income from home, the online entrepreneur can provide a substantial safety cushion in terms of long term financial security.


When I started, I knew very little about internet marketing or marketing in general, for that matter, but with the right opportunity and some training and coaching , anyone can learn and master this business in a relatively short period of time.
I initially made some wrong choices and wasted a lot of money and time listening to so called gurus and jumping from one idea to another without much success, I know tend to think of those days as valuable training that have led me to where I am today.

Have you ever heard Jim Rohn's Ant philosophy?
Jim Rohn thinks everybody should study ants because they have a simple yet powerful life philosophy. It has four parts;

1. Ants never quit.
   
2. Ants think "winter" all summer.
   
3. Ants think "summer" all winter.
   
4. Ants gather "all that they can" during summer.
   

Let me explain the steps in detail.
Ants never quit. If an ant is heading somewhere they will get there. If you try to put obsticles in their way they stop, look, and think for half a second, after which they have found a way to either go over, under, or around the obstacle. Whatever the obstacle they will try to find another way past, and they will keep looking until they have found it. So you should also never quit looking for a way to get where your are supposed to go.
Ants think "winter" all summer. Summer will not last forever. Ant spend their summers gathering food for the winter and building their house that will keep them safe during the cold winter. So must you prepare for hard times. Look at all the companies that have gone under in the financial crisis. Had they thought "winter" during the good times, they would have had capital that would have kept them safe from the financial "winter". Don't forget the winter.
Ants think "summer" all winter. Winter will not last forever. Ants keeps telling themselves "This hard time will not last forever". When summer comes they will be out as soon as they can. They can't wait to get out. You will have hard times when you are low on energy and everything seems to go against you. Then it is important to realize that there will be better days ahead. Think positively! Make that winter go away!
Ants gather food during the summer to prepare for the winter. And they are gathering all that they possibly can. They do their best. The best they possibly can achieve. When you do your best it is always good enough! Always strive to do your best and you will NOT fail in life!

Most people think of retirement as a way to finally get away from work. Put up their feet and do what they have always wanted to do. Making money online is one thing that is important to the baby boomers, because they want to make more, but they don't want to have to work for someone else. To supplement your income in retirement, you can do it easily and in a more enjoyable way as an entrepreneur of a home based business, and still have time to enjoy life – that's why you retired in the first place.
